Transition of Korean-American Youths with Disabilities Through the Perspective of Disability Studies

The purpose of this study is to explore the transition experience of youths with disabilities, who are from culturally and linguistically diverse (CLD) backgrounds. For this purpose, this study will share the transition stories of Korean-American youths as well as seek a way to make a critical conversation between Critical Youth Study and Disability Studies in order to have a better understanding on their experiences. This presentation explores the transition experience of Korean-American youths with disabilities through the perspective of Disability Studies+Critical Youth Study.
