The effectiveness of Multimedia Instruction in Teaching Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities Grocery Shopping Skills After this session, participants will be able to: a) learn how effective multimedia instruction is in teaching grocery shopping skills to individuals with intellectual disabilities. Many multimedia instruction materials contain interactive components and videos that allow learners to model target skills and to be actively engaged in learning. b) learn how to use multimedia instruction to teach grocery shopping skills to individuals with intellectual disabilities. The session will provide the participants with scientific procedures in delivering multimedia instruction. c) learn how to create simple multimedia materials for instruction by using laptops and tablet computers. At the end of the session, some simple ways to create multimedia materials will be presented. This will help researchers and practitioners with their research and practices.
