Teachers’ Beliefs about including Secondary Students with Complex Health Care Needs

Today, students who have complex health care needs and medical technology dependencies are living longer, and have improved access to health care services in their homes, and neighborhood schools. This presentation shares research findings on a study that investigated special education teachers’ beliefs about inclusive education for middle and high school students with severe disabilities and complex health care needs.  This presentation will describe research on teachers’ beliefs regarding inclusive education for secondary students with complex health care needs.
